Yes. It was a tradtiional Palembang costume, where my great grandparents were from. The fabric is called Songket with golden threads. The people in Palembang, were known to be richest in the Indonesian archipelago. They love to adorn themselvs with gold...although I was only wearing costume jewellery.

It was very tiring. I don't know how th Queens wear them all day!.

Haha...yes we are a bit wimpy when it comes to chilli. Although I have some French friends who are much worse..they don't even like pepper..its too spicy they say!.

That is why I still prefer to be in Asia; I can find chilli and spices by the kilos! When I go to Aus, my in-law will buy me just 5 I mean really 5 chillies as a welcome gift, which of course I take as snack..

actually I have a stiff neck (from my right shoulder up to my neck). can;t turn my neck for a few days. it was funny to do the vids while I cook with a stiff neck..

hi olib, was going to bed but my husband turned on my spybot on my laptop, so i am up again.

it's singapore's birthday this saturday, so we'll be watching the fireworks and parade. next weekend we may be going to Thailand for holidays..
